Movie News: Steve Carell to Star in 'Marwencol' Remake; Pixar Debuts a New 'Inside Out' Clip

Marwencol: Steve Carell will get to play with action figures again as Mark Hogancamp, the traumatically amnesic subject of Jeff Malmberg's 2010 documentary Marwencol, in a dramatic remake of that film. Malmberg is an executive producer on the new movie and Robert Zemeckis will direct it after finishing his other doc remake, The Walk, which revisits the story of Oscar winner Man on Wire. Army of One: Larry Charles has assembled a comedic army of many for his next movie, which stars Nicolas Cage as a real-life American plumber who set out to assassinatie Osama bin Laden. He will be joined by Russell Brand, Rainn Wilson, Ken Marino, Paul Scheer, Denis O'Hare and Wendy McLendon-Covey. [Variety]

When Marnie Was There Trailer: The final animated feature from Studio Ghibli, at least for a while, is hitting the U.S. next month with an English-language dub featuring the voices of Hailee Steinfeld, John C. Reilly, Kathy Bates, Geena Davis, Mad Men's Kiernan Shipka and more. Here is the first trailer for the American theatrical release of When Marnie Was There, directed by Hiromasa Yonebayashi.
