Iron Man 2 / Silver Linings Playbook

Chef vs. Chef: Scarlett Johansson is reuniting with Iron Man 2 director Jon Favreau for Chef, which Favreau wrote; he'll also direct and star as a restaurant chef who starts over with a food truck. ScarJo will play a restaurant manager and love interest; Robert Downey Jr. has a cameo. Storm clouds loom, however, because the backers of a rival project about a chef, with Bradley Cooper starring as a chef who wants to open a Paris resaurant, just sent a cease and desist letter to the other production, claiming that they have rights to the title Chef and The Chef. Oh, boy. [Variety / The Hollywood Reporter]

The Wolverine: Hugh Jackman is ripped in a new photo from The Wolverine, tweeted by director James Mangold during production. The muscled mutant is squaring off against human foe Hiroyuki Sanada, who only has a sword to protect himself. The movie will slash its way into theaters on July 26. []

King Kong: The 1933 classic King Kong has spawned two remakes, one official sequel, and numerous rip-offs, but never a musical stage production -- until now. King Kong, a musical, is dancing its way toward previews beginning on May 28 in Melbourne, Australia, featuring a titular character weighing more than a ton and standing 20 feet tall. More than a dozen puppeteers are required to work their magic and make King Kong come alive on stage. [Variety]

Rio 2 Trailer: The animated family film Rio, featuring the voices of Anne Hathaway and Jesse  Eisenberg and set mostly in Brazil, was an unexpectedly big success in 2011. Rio 2, the sequel, reunites Hathaway and Eisenberg; the first, brief teaser delightfully teases the tropical setting. The movie will dance into theaters on April 11, 2014. [HeyUGuys]
