The Last Witch Hunter

The Last Witch Hunter: Vin Diesel is featured in the latest image from The Last Witch Hunter, looking quite pensive. Diesel plays the titular character, who must partner with a witch (Rose Leslie) to defeat a common foe. Elijah Wood and Michael Caine also star; look for it in theaters on October 23. [Coming Soon]

Gore Verbinski

Driverless Race-Car Movie: Academy Award winner Gore Verbinski (Rango, above) is attached to direct a "large-scale action-adventure comedy" about driverless cars. Steve Conrad, who previously worked with Verbinski on 2005's The Weather Man, will write the screenplay, which will follow a cross-country race in which the competitive instinct of the passengers overcomes their "altruistic intentions." The 1960s all-star comedy It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World is mentioned as a comparison point. [Deadline]

Jauja Trailer: Viggo Mortensen stars in a new trailer for Jauja, a Spanish-language Western that will open in theaters on March 20. Set in the beautiful, wide-open ranch land of Patagonia, Argentina in the late 1800s, the story follows Mortensen -- who speaks Spanish throughout -- as an army engineer in search of his 15-year-old daughter after she runs off with a young soldier.
