Knights of the Round Table

Knights of the Round Table: Charlie Hunnam (Pacific Rim) stars in the upcoming Knights of the Round Table, and director Guy Ritchie has shared the first photo from the set. The film is the first in what is hoped to be a six-installment series, telling the epic tale of King Arthur and his knights. Jude Law is the primary villain; the movie also stars Eric Bana, Astrid Berges-Frisbey, and Djimon Hounsou. It's heading for release on July 22, 2016. [Twitter via Collider]

Kate Mara

Morgan: Kate Mara (Fantastic Four) will star in Morgan, the directorial debut of Luke Scott, who just happens to be the son of Ridley Scott. The elder Scott will serve as a producer on the sci-fi thriller, which follows a "corporate risk-management consultant who is summoned to a remote research lab to determine whether or not to terminate an at-risk artificial being." Luke Scott's brother Jake Scott directed 2010's drama Welcome to the Rileys, while his sister Jordan Scott helmed 2009's dreamy Cracks with Eva Green. [Heat Vision]

Elizabeth Banks / Paul Giamatti

Battle of the Sexes: Elizabeth Banks and Paul Giamatti will star in an untitled project for HBO that will recreate the real-life Battle of the Sexes tennis match between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs in 1973. David Auburn (Proof) will write the script, based on the challenge issued by 55-year-old former champion Riggs that even at his age, he could beat any of the much younger female tennis players considered the best in the world. The Longest Ride

The Longest Ride TV Spot: Britt Robertson, star of the upcoming Tomorrowland, also stars in The Longest Ride, a romantic drama based on a novel by Nicholas Sparks. Robertson plays a college student, readying for an exciting career in the art world, when she falls in love with Scott Eastwood, a bull rider preparing for a comeback. Alan Alda also stars; the movie opens in theaters on April 10. [MovieClips]
