Dwayne Johnson: The actor (above with Zac Efron in Baywatch) posted a new photo with Courtney Kemp (see below), a writer and producer known for creating TV's Power. It's the caption, though, that sparks the imagination; it reads in part: "She had a take on my life in ways no writer ever has. … A fascinating POV from this woman, on what makes me the man I am today. This is the first step of many and projects like this take time." Is Johnson contemplating a movie based on his life? Time will tell. [Instagram]

It: Hot on the heels on a new trailer debuting for upcoming Stephen King adaptation It, producer Barbara Muschietti has revealed that Tilda Swinton (Okja, above with Ahn Seo-Hyun) was under consideration to play the titular character, a villainous demon who shapeshifts into Pennywise the Clown. She told reporters: "We had a slot to shoot the movie and she wasn’t available, so she didn’t even audition. But of course, we all thought about her.” Bill Skarsgard ended up nabbing the role; the movie opens on September 8. [Nerdist]
