Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2: Director James Gunn announced via social media that production on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has been completed. While answering questions prompted by his announcement, he said: "I'm tired & I'm not sure I want to do [Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3]. Two completely different things news outlets have conflated for clicks. … I'm ALWAYS tired at the end of a shoot. It has nothing to do with whether I agree to do [Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3] or something else." [Twitter]

The Saint

The Saint: Simon Templar will return to the big screen. The character, also known as The Saint, was created by author Leslie Charteris in a series of books published between 1928 and 1963, adapted for television in a show that starred Roger Moore in the 1960s and followed by a big-screen version in 1997 that starred Val Kilmer (above). Now Paramount has bought rights to the books and hopes to launch an action movie franchise. [Deadline]

The Commuter: Vera Farmiga will star in The Commuter, to be directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (The Shallows). She will play "a mysterious woman who boards a commuter train and proposes an enticing opportunity" to Liam Neeson as the titular character. It's a reunion for Farmiga with Collet-Serra; they previously worked together on Orphan (above), while Neeson and Collet-Serra worked together on the thrillers Non-Stop and Unknown. [Deadline]

Disorder Trailer: In the seductive first trailer for Disorder, Matthias Schoenaerts stars as a bodyguard hired to protect the wife (Diane Kruger) and child of a businessman while he's away. When things go wrong, nobody knows who can be trusted. The thriller opens in theaters on August 12. [Movieclips]
