Movie News: Channing Tatum Joins 'Kingsman 2'; Live-Action 'Peter Pan' On Its Way From 'Pete's Dragon' Director

Kingsman: The Golden Circle: Channing Tatum has hinted via social media that he will be joining the cast of Kingsman: The Golden Circle. The sequel, to be directed again by Matthew Vaughn, will feature the return of stars Taron Egerton and Mark Strong, along with new characters to be played by Julianne Moore, Halle Berry and, possibly, Elton John. Peter Pan

Peter Pan: David Lowery will direct a live-action version of Peter Pan for Disney. Lowery will also cowrite the screenplay with Toby Halbrooks. The two recently teamed to write a new version of Pete's Dragon for Disney, which Lowery directed; it's heading to theaters on August 12. Disney is still developing a live-action movie that will focus on Tinker Bell, aka Peter Pan's faithful fairy cohort, with Reese Witherspoon set to star. [Deadline]

How the Grinch Stole Christmas: Benedict Cumberbatch will voice The Grinch in a new, animated version of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
