Bryan Singer and Patrick Stewart

X-Men: Days of Future Past: Back on June 20, director Bryan Singer noted via social media that he and writer Simon Kinberg had agreed that if X-Men: Days of Future Past made more than $700 million at the box office worldwide, they'd each get their first tattooes. The film has now passed that mark, and so Singer kept his word, bringing along Patrick Stewart as a witness. [Instagram]

Resident Evil Retribution

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter: Milla Jovovich is pregnant! Now, that's not usually news that we cover here, but in this case, the actress says that she received confirmation just as she and her husband, director Paul W.S. Anderson, were preparing to travel to South Africa to work on their latest collaboration, the zombie sequel Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. As she wrote: "We didn’t think pregnancy and zombie killing are the best combo!" The couple (above, during filming of 2012's Resident Evil: Retribution) plans to resume work on the movie next year. The November Man

The November Man: In a display of confidence that's admittedly rare for a movie that does not feature any superheroes, Relativity Studios confirms it will be making a sequel to action-thriller The November Man, starring Pierce Brosnan. He plays a former spy who returns to action for "one last mission," so we can assume that things turn out well for him in the movie, which is due out in theaters next Wednesday, August 27. Automata Trailer: Antonio Banderas stars in the sci-fi thriller Automata, which is due in theaters on October 10. Set 50 years in the future, the tale sees robots rebelling against their human masters, with accident investigator Banderas caught in the middle. Dylan McDermott, Melanie Griffith and Robert Forster also star; Gabe Ibañez directed. [Yahoo]
