Movie News: Ava DuVernay Shares New 'A Wrinkle in Time' Photos; Watch New 'Wonder Woman' Origin Trailer

A Wrinkle in Time: Shooting has wrapped on Disney's adaptation of A Wrinkle in Time, and director Ava DuVernay took to Twitter to celebrate with a whole bunch of goodbyes to stars Mindy Kaling, Reese Witherspoon, Oprah Winfrey, Andre Holland and all the child actors, plus production photos, some of which look like production stills. The one above seems to feature crew but that and others at least tease the tone we can look forward to when the movie hits theaters more than a year from now, on April 6, 2008. [Twitter]

Escape Plan 2: Sylvester Stallone is returning for a sequel to 2013's Escape Plan, but this time he's got a new and much younger former bodybuilder by his side. Dave Bautista, best known these days as Drax in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, has been cast in Escape Plan 2, which apparently won't have Arnold Schwarzenegger back for another clash of the '80s action stars. Steven C. Miller, who worked with Bautista on Marauders, is directing this one, and production begins this Spring. [THR]

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Clip: Speaking of Bautista and the Guardians of the Galaxy, here's a funny new clip from the upcoming sequel. Bautista's Drax acknowledges something too crass and personal about himself, while Peter and Rocket fight over who is the better pilot and should take the reigns of the Milano. Han and Chewie, they ain't. We look forward to more ego-driven bickering when the movie hits theaters on May 5. [Heroic Hollywood]

Wonder Woman Trailer: Who is Wonder Woman? She's Diana of Themyscira, daughter of Hippolyta. And in the latest trailer for her upcoming movie, her back story is teased. We see young Diana learning from her mother (Connie Nielsen) about weapons that were gifted from the gods, being trained harder than any Amazon warrior before her and, when older (played by star Gal Gadot), using her Bracelets of Submission in self defense against her trainer, General Antiope (Robin Wright). Then it turns into more of the kind of trailer we've seen before. This entry into the DC Extended Universe hits theaters June 2. [Warner Bros.]
