Ansel Elgort

Dungeons and Dragons: Ansel Elgort (The Fault in Our Stars) is in early negotiations to star in Dungeons and Dragons, a big-screen adaptation of the role-playing board game. David Leslie Johnson (The Conjuring 2) wrote the screenplay and Rob Letterman (Goosebumps) will direct. The board game follows "a warrior and his band of mystical creatures as they embark on a dangerous journey to find a mythical treasure." [Deadline]

The Book of Henry

The Book of Henry: The first official image from The Book of Henry features Jaeden Lieberher (above left) and Room star Jacob Tremblay (above right). Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World, the upcoming Star Wars: Episode IX) is directing the movie, which follows a child prodigy and his younger brother as they get involved in a mysterious scheme. It's due in theaters on September 16. [Empire]

Emma Stone / Alicia Vikander

Agatha Christie: If things work out, Emma Stone and Alicia Vikander will star in competing movies in which each will play famed mystery author Agatha Christie. Stone would play Christie during 11 days in 1926 in which she reportedly went missing -- also explored in the 1979 drama Agatha -- while Vikander is under consideration to portray Christie "in her formative years as a proto-feminist unhappy with traditional" expectations. Morgan Trailer: The first full trailer for Morgan follows a corporate risk-management consultant (Kate Mara) as she investigates a laboratory's potentially dangerous experimental creation. Anya Taylor-Joy, Toby Jones, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Rose Leslie and Paul Giamatti also star. The movie will open in theaters on September 2. [Movieclips]
