Maleficent: Disney has released more than a dozen new photos from the upcoming Maleficent, due out in theaters on May 30. In our two favorite images, Angelina Jolie looks quite menacing as the titular character, who eventually gives in to the dark side. [Coming Soon]

Kung Fu: Baz Luhrmann, who last adapted F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby for the big screen, is turning to decidedly different source material. He is in talks to direct Kung Fu, based in the 1970s TV show that starred David Carradine as Caine, a half-Chinese, half-American martial artist who wandered the wild, wild West in the 19th century. The new version would be set in China with the lead character in search of his father. [Heat Vision]

Allegiant: Following the pattern established by The Twilight Saga and The Hunger Games, the final installment of the film series based on Veronica Roth's trilogy of books will be split into two movies. Divergent has already taken in more than $175 million at the worldwide box office; its sequel Insurgent is scheduled for release on March 20, 2015. Allegiant - Part 1 is now set for March 18, 2016, and Allegiant - Part 2 will follow on March 24, 2017. [Lionsgate]

A Most Wanted Man Trailer: Based on a novel by the great John le Carré, A Most Wanted Man follows intelligence agents as they endeavor to stop an act of terror. Philip Seymour Hoffman (in one of his final performances), Rachel McAdams, Robin Wright and Willem Dafoe star; the movie will hit theaters on July 25. [Yahoo]
