Scary Movie 5

Scary Movie 5: The first still from Scary Movie 5 has been released (above), featuring Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan in an intimate moment that we’re sure -- we hope? -- will erupt into something very, very funny when it’s seen in the context of the movie. Scary Movie 5, which also stars Ashley Tisdale, Terry Crews, Heather Locklear, Molly Shannon and Kate Walsh, hits theaters on April 19, 2013. [Coming Soon]

A Bittersweet Life: The remake of Korean crime film A Bittersweet Life has found a director. Allen Hughes, who has recently begun working apart from his brother Albert Hughes, will helm the project. Anthony Peckham (Sherlock Holmes) has been hired to write a new draft of the script. [Deadline]

Frankenweenie: What a trouper! On his way to the stage for a Q&A session after the world premiere of Frankenweenie at Fantastic Fest last night, actor Martin Landau, 84, took a tumble, but quickly recovered and was soon joking with director Tim Burton that he was now available to do “pratfalls” in future films. Also present: Winona Ryder, young Charlie Tahan and producer Allison Abbate.

42 Trailer: Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier for Major League Baseball in the late 1940s, and the upcoming 42 tackles the issue head on in the first trailer. Chadwick Boseman stars as Robinson, with Harrison Ford leading the supporting cast; the movie is due in theaters on April 12, 2013. [Collider]
