Susan Cooper: Jason Statham, who has often cracked wise and made tough-guy jokes in his action movies, is now contemplating making a straightforward comedy… with Melissa McCarthy. The unlikely duo may team up as secret agents in Susan Cooper, to be directed by Paul Feig. Feig worked with McCarthy on her breakout movie Bridesmaids as well as this summer's smash hit The Heat. Animal: Musician-turned-actress Eve says she is excited to appear in the upcoming horror movie Animal. She says horror movies are her favorite genre, plus, she claims, "I’m a real good screamer.” The first official image finds her in prescream mode, looking at something that has left her speechless. The movie, produced by Drew Barrymore's company, involves a bloodthirsty predator and a group of stranded friends; it's aiming for release next year. []

Skiptrace: Jackie Chan's latest English-speaking costar is well suited for the role. Sean William Scott, whose chemistry with Dwayne Johnson in The Rundown resulted in a career highlight for both actors, has been set to appear opposite Chan in the action adventure Skiptrace. The lovely Fan Bingbing will costar; Sam Fell, who helmed the terrific animated films ParaNorman and The Tale of Despereaux, will make his live-action directorial debut. Chan will play a cop, while Scott will portray a fast-talking gambler. [Heat Vision]

Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa Trailer: In the latest cinematic adventures of the Jackass crew, Johnny Knoxville travels the country in character as an 86-year-old man, accompanied by his eight-year-old grandson as they engage in one outrageous adventure after another in Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa. A new red-band trailer begins when the "old man" gets his genitals stuck in a… well, you already know if you want to watch it or not! The movie opens on Friday. [Coming Soon]
