Do Bad Things May 31 with True Blood: The Complete Third Season

HBO's vampire series True Blood, which follows the adventures of mind-reading waitress Sookie Stackhouse (Oscar winner Anna Paquin) in the small Louisiana town of Bon Temps after vampires come "out of the coffin" thanks to a synthetic blood substitute, has been the best-selling TV on DVD series for the past two years. In season three, Sookie discovers that she is only half human and her fairy life force draws vampires to her like moths to a flame, including her vampire lover, Bill (Stephen Moyer). The darkly erotic series includes regulars Ryan Kwanten, Rutina Wesley, Sam Trammell, Nelsan Ellis and Alexander Skarsgård.

Now True Blood: The Complete Third Season has been announced for DVD and Blu-ray on May 31—just in time to "do bad things with you" at home before season four debuts in June. Both the DVD and Blu-ray contain "Anatomy of a Scene," an in-depth look at the introduction of werewolves to the series, as well as "True Blood Post Mortems," audio commentaries, end-of-episode guides and Snoop Dogg's hilarious tribute music video, "Oh Sookie." The Blu-ray includes enhanced viewing mode on all 12 episodes, which is an amplified picture-in-picture display with interactive content that includes vampire histories/character bios, background stories, trivia, hints, clues and more. The BD also has "True Blood Lines," an interactive on-screen guide that highlights the connections between the many worlds in the series.
