Synopsis

Jack Black and Michael Cera headline Harold Ramis' Biblical comedy about a pair of misfit hunter-gatherers who embark on a wild journey through the ancient world after being banished from their primitive village. Zed (Black) and Oh (Cera) may lack in the skills that their chieftain is looking for, but they have plans to make it big. Zed has a gut feeling that God has "chosen" him, and so he leads his buddy on a trip through the unknown countryside in search of bigger and better things, bumping into several weird characters along the way -- like a feuding pair of brothers named Cain and Abel (David Cross and Paul Rudd). Unfortunately, their quest for greatness hits a few snags, like being sold into slavery, and later becoming the object of interest to a very amorous, very hairy high priest (Oliver Platt) in the opulent city of Sodom. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

Interview - Kristen Stewart for "The Runaways"

Outside of a certain franchise, confident Kristen Stewart continues to work outside the box, whether she’s an underage hooker in "Welcome to the Rileys" or her ferocious portrayal of Joan Jett in "The Runaways", both of which premiered at Sundance. Paul Fischer caught up with the actress in a Park...continued

Interview - Julie Andrews for "The Tooth Fairy"

When it comes to class, nobody does it better than Dame Julie Andrews. She enters a room and it is more than just the hills that are alive but also the room in which she enters with grace and that still iconic voice that has changed little since it was first introduced to American audiences as...continued

Chris Willman: Nick Jonas: A Kid After a Boomer's Own Heart

Is Nick Jonas still aiming his act at the Jonas Brothers' target teen-'n'-tween audience... or at their parents? That's the question you might ask after hearing the youngest JoBro's first solo album, Who I Am. ("Solo" may or may not need an asterisk next to it, since the billing for this album and...continued

    Review - Edge of Darkness

The hair’s a little thinner, the facial lines a little deeper, but otherwise Mel Gibson hasn’t changed much in his nearly eight year break from leading role status. Unfortunately he’s one of the only usually reliable things not broken in “Edge of Darkness”, an oddly emasculated remake of the cult...continued

Interview - Ethan Hawke for "Daybreakers"

While Ethan Hawke may be best known as one of Hollywood’s most serious actor, showing off his fun side was one of the reasons for opting to star as a tortured vampire in the Spierig Brothers’ "Daybreakers", shot in Australia and co-starring Australia’s Claudia Karvan and Sam Neill in this...continued
