Where the Wild Things Are
Beyond Wild They wrecked the book! What a disaster! Time to type out a really angry blog rant! That’s what I expected to think about the first teaser trailer. Turns out it’s one of the coolest things, like, ever. Not just one of the coolest movie trailers. One of the coolest things. Ever. In history.

Year One
Not Exactly Life of Brian … but the trailer is still pretty damn funny. Bonus points for spotting McLovin. Pretty sure Michael Cera has maybe one more movie where he gets away with playing the loveable geek with girl problems. Then he’s at risk for becoming Anthony Michael Hall.

Bond 23
File Under: Ridiculous Rumors Pretty sure that Angelina Jolie signing on for a recurring role in the Bond series is about as likely as a Tomb Raider reunion with Daniel Craig.

NSFW I wasn’t expecting Shakespeare when I clicked on this red-band clip, but I certainly didn’t need to see Jason Statham giving a bad guy a rectal exam.

Sorority Row
The Hills Have Eyes I’ve never seen an episode of The Hills, but I like to watch Joel McHale make fun of Audrina Partridge on The Soup. You’ll probably lose at least 20 IQ points by viewing this idiotic trailer, but you’ll also get to see Audrina murdered with a tire iron.

Anti-Arthouse If you’re a clove-smoking college student, you may claim to enjoy Lars Von Trier films. Years from now, you will realize that back in college you were a huge douche. Pretentious film student Mike would have loved the first pic from the “controversial” drama. Warning: by clicking the link you will be exposing yourself to heavy-handed symbolism.

Teen Wolves A bunch of kids you’ve never heard of have signed on to star as the wolf pack. I’m willing to bet that there are maybe nine people who still care about this franchise by the time they’re done with the last movie.

Terminator Salvation
Spoiling the Spoiler Awhile back Ain’t It Cool posted a story that supposedly spoiled the ending … which then supposedly prompted the filmmakers to rewrite the whole thing. Or maybe they’re just saying that because they don’t want people to read the spoiler and believe it, because it turned out to be accurate. In any case, if you want to know whether or not John Connor dies and has his skin stretched over the skeleton of a Terminator in the original script, click on over here.

Cut Loose OMG, you guys! Something horrible has happened! Zac Effron has decided not to star in the remake! One thing that I’m actually curious about, though, is what kind of car they would replace Kevin Bacon’s Beetle with. The obvious choice would be one of the new Beetles, I guess. But my vote would be for one of those super-cheap Indian Tata Nano things.
