Synopsis
"Raza," a Spanish word which is sometimes translated as "race," but has a much more complex flavor than the English term. It also means "kindred" or "family." This documentary film by Catalan director Gonzalo Herralde explores the meaning and implications of a propaganda film called Raza, made in 1942, the third year of Franco's rulership of Spain.
