Synopsis
Abolfazi Jalili directed this Iranian drama in Turkmen, Arabic, and English languages. Made in 1991, the film was held back from release by Iranian authorities until 1998. Minus much dialogue and seen through the eyes of an 11-year-old boy, the drama looks at daily routines in a parched and remote community of Iranian mud-brickmakers.
