The amateurish production values might be pardonable if the clichs -- the hard-core porn star with the soft heart, the therapist who needs to heal herself -- inside the poorly lighted, badly shot images weren't so absurd and often insulting.

I would say that the plot starts off a bit all over the place, though towards the middle it becomes much more obvious that it was not just a random set of events thrown together. The dialogs are well written, overall I would recommend it.
