Had me laughing like a retard... by Jaycee5
?WALK HARD? isn?t going to change the world. It isn?t a ?thought provoking social commentary and a wake up call for America?. ?WALK HARD? is what a movie should be...entertaining. And entertaining it is. Laugh out loud funny with a couple of scenes that will make you genuinely uncomfortable...in a good way.

Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story by amy1g
We laughed until the tears were rolling down our cheeks! The pop culture references, as well as the obvious political UNcorrectness, were hysterical! Thank you for a stress relieving hour and a half of laughs!

Walk...back to your car by Heather_Renee
I found this movie to be just ok. Some of the songs were funny, but the movie, not so much. I found it to be a waste of time.

Funnier than expected by chaddychoo
I am kind of a comedy snob. But this movie made me laugh out loud on several occasions.
If you want to see light-hearted and fun, without being stupid, I would definitely go see Walk Hard.

Oh man... by Sweet McGee
Personally, i thought this movie was hilarious. I can already hear the negative reviews and people saying this and that about how it's dumb and pointless but it was pretty damn funny. The dumb humor is exactly that, dumb humor. It's meant to soooo dumb that you have to laugh at its stupidity. I went in thinking that it was gonna be funny but came out pretty shocked at how funny it really was. If you're a fan of Knocked Up and Wedding Crashers and all the other "dumb" funny movies definitely go watch this one. It's well worth the overpriced movie tickets now a days.

A real downer by Xenomania
I went in to this movie thinking, " Ok its the guys who made knocked up and Superbad, this will be good." That was not the case. Walk Hard is one of those movies that has a few good lines but the rest is garbage. I do not recomend this to anyone.

Another Apatow gem to adorn his comedy crown by votum
If you are looking for a good comedy or parody then you will get more than your monies worth watching this film. The acting, the dialogue, the character develop was all on this beautiful pace where you had few breaks in laughter and it kept rolling and rolling like a snowball down a mountain in to a cresendo of joy. Not only can I not wait to own this film I want the sound track as well.

Disappointing- not funny by benjow
I actually created a fandango account just to review this movie to make sure people knew how bad it is!
It's clear the actors in this movie tried to hard - which was disappointing, because we were expecting it to be funny. The silly songs seemed to last too long, and none of the jokes got more than a light chuckle from anyone in the audience (the few that were there). Unfortunately, as much as I've liked the lead actor in his previous roles, he just can't carry a film by himself. Don't see this movie, it's actually barely a rental.

Hilarious unusual comedy by Chadwick980
I laughed the whole way through this movie. The comedy style of this movie is unique, simple, and 'repeated'. If you like Knocked Up, Superbad, Family Guy, and/or the Simpsons, then you'll definately love this movie.

Better than Talladega Nights by jmisner
"Walk Hard" is basically a spoof of the Johnny Cash biography "Walk the Line" (hence the title). Not to say every element of "Walk Hard" is a parody, but the main plot points are taken from the Johnny Cash story. With that aside, the humor was much smarter than anticipated, considering John Reilly's supporting role in "Talladega Nights." There are cameo appearances by a few musicians including Bono and Jack White. Some fail-safe actors take smaller roles (including Tim Meadows). Overall, it was a decently funny film. I would recommend it to friends, but I wouldn't say it was as funny as Knocked Up or Superbad.
