The film is a rigorously thorough biography and an impassioned accolade. Temple spends as much time on Strummer's life before and after the Clash as he does charting the band's powerful musical and political influence.

Not Just for Clash Fans by riddell40
This is a great Documentary of a great songwirter. I saw this film at the Sundance Festival this past January and was blown away. Strummer is an icon and the love and passion that he brought to music is all here but also revealed are all the warts that come with brilliance. Julian Temple created a magnificent tribute to a legend.
