You can feel just how jarring and stressful it must be for a soldier to go from the life-and-death adrenaline rush of war to the maddeningly slow world of rehabilitation and forced inactivity.

I don't know what she's been smoking...
Hell and Back Again gives you access to the life of a veteran soldier Sgt. Harris and his life both on the frontlines in Afghanistan and the difficulties of coming back from war. Harris's feelings of uselessness at being injured and unable to be fighting alongside his men is easily felt thanks to director Danfung's amazing cinematography. This film shows the struggles American soldiers have fighting in Afghanistan and the difficulties with civilians who dislike both the Taliban and them. This is not a film for small children!!! This is a doc that shows the horrors and cost of war, as well as the perseverance of the men and women in the armed forces of the United States of America and their courageous allies. bit. ly/AoDd8j
