Who's in It: Christian Bale, Freddy Rodriguez, Eva Longoria
The Basics: Lunatic war vet (Bale) is a thug from the mean streets of South Central L.A. Rodriguez is his henpecked buddy. Together, they get high and get into violent scrapes. But Bale takes it all the way. Then comes the predictable reckoning.
What's the Deal? Remember Training Day? That movie was exciting, snarly and dumb, all about these two guys in gritty urban L.A. being violent and nuts. Well, this one is pretty much that movie, but snarlier and even dumber. That's because it was written by the same guy. At least he recycles.
What Gets Eaten: Bale devours everything that isn't nailed down. And some things that are. His performance will be called "intense" by certain people. I call it "ham sandwich."
Drinking Game: Every time Bale or Rodriguez calls the other one "dude" or "bruh." There should be a little ticker at the bottom of the screen for it, really.
