If in the end the film is neither a cogent psychological thriller nor an effervescent sex comedy, it does at least have an interesting sense of place.

A generally entertaining piece of fluff that's kept afloat by a weathered cast including Fabrice Luchini and Roschdy Zem.

The Girl From Monaco - pleasant, interesting but ultimately confounding by moviegirl1121
Interesting characters, interesting story but ending that doesn't really make sense.

The Girl from Monaco by Dina Maria
I enjoyed the main character of this film. His quirky personality made the movie! I also enjoyed his "sidekick", who was surprisingly a great addition to the story. Although, I thought the ending was disappointing (typical foreign film ending), I would recommend this movie for a Sunday afternoon. Very light entertainment.
