A picture so thoroughly generic as to suggest a contraption assembled from spare parts with the aid of a how-to manual.

There's likely an audience for the cloying and dizzying hip-hop dance flick Battlefield America, but even the most forgiving viewers may feel like they've been underestimated - and underserved.

The editing in Battlefield America is super-speedy: Each shot lasts about three seconds, and then it's off.

Although it's grotesque to see pre-teens stomping in underground warehouse-battle settings, at least Battlefield America's racial politics are interesting.

Dance on the battlefield by Anime_Lover
I really like this movie because it shows that you don't have to be a nobody to achieve what you want to do. The movie was so good because it boost the stereotype WORKING HARD GETS U GREATNESS !!!! It also reminds me of the show America's best dance crew, this is the best movie for kids who love to dance

New-Gen Bad News Bears Dance In 'Da Hood. by Alon Patterson
First, this movie is loud. Next, this movie is loud. Most importantly, the editor or camera operators had very short attention spans because all the dance scene shots change about every three seconds, so frequently in fact, that it completely spoils the choreography and all but ruins the dance performances. Were this not bad enough, the angles and distance the camera shots are taken from leave the audience wanting to LEAVE, despite the fact that there are some mighty talented child dancers up there working their hearts out. Were it not for this one fact, I'd advise skipping this altogether. Being a dance flick, nobody actually expects a real screenplay or acting, both of which are also true here. Still, if you like LOUD, throbbing, gut wrenching beats and a virtual mish mash of dance rather than performances, this is your ticket. If you pay an evening ticket price you'll feel ripped off but a matinee, DVD or stream would pass…and if you decide to PASS you'll be glad you did.
