Your Favorite Thing Today: Parents Re-create Famous Movie Scenes with Their Baby

Dec 26, 2013

The parents of the world all have different ideas when it comes to introducing their children to movies, with some taking a more inventive approach over others. Yeah, you can slowly introduce one movie at a time, beginning with Disney classics and Pixar movies, or you can do what these awesome parents are doing and introduce all the best movies to your young child by placing them inside classic movie scenes that you're re-creating inside your house... as a family.

So we throw out all the major props today to the creators of Cardboard Box Office, a homemade project that was born when one couple realized they needed to do something with all the cardboard boxes they had collected after using them to move to another country.

From their website:

"The project began after finding that we had accumulated both a lot of cardboard boxes (due to moving to a new country) and a baby (due to giving birth). With our social lives drastically altered we decided to find a way to make some of those housebound weekends a little more fun. The costumes, props, and sets in Cardboard Box Office are created entirely out of everyday household items, toys, cardboard, and three individuals slowly losing their sanity. Enjoy!"

Check out some of our favorite movie-scene re-creations below, with more over on their site. Can you guess all the movies they're referencing?
