Mad Max: Fury Road isn't the first time we've seen Mad Max sacrifice his well-being to protect a tanker truck full of treasured cargo.

1981's The Road Warrior (the second Mad Max film) provides the foundation that Fury Road is built upon, showcasing George Miller's masterful skills at directing action decades before Tom Hardy filled Max's leather boots. Fury Road is definitely the goods, but in case you needed any reminding, Road Warrior was also the goods...
