A new image of Henry Cavill as Superman has hit the cover of Studio Ciné Live magazine, featuring the star of next year's Man of Steel staring back at us with his arms crossed, all dreamboat-like. He looks good -- he looks like Superman -- and so all we need now is a little more footage to help sell us on what we hope will be one of next summer's best movies.
The next couple of weeks are important ones, in that we're waving good-bye to 2012 (awards, year-end lists, Hobbit, Tarantino, Tom Cruise) and at the same time teasing what's to come. Man of Steel will be one of those movies releasing a new trailer with The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, and we expect it to be bigger and more revealing than anything we've seen so far. Expect a lot more to be written about Zack Snyder's Man of Steel -- and what it means for the future of DC comics-based movies -- in the next week, but in the meantime try staring into this man's eyes for a few minutes and tell us what you see.
Man of Steel hits theaters in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D on June 14.
