Wolverine the Musical

The Wolverine is set to slash its way into theaters on July 26, but maybe you find yourself yearning for more of Marvel’s moody mutant before the end of the next week. If that’s the case, and you love musicals starring puppets, you’re going to want to see this video.

The guys over at Glove and Boots have put together this musical extravaganza paying respect to James Howlett/Logan/Wolverine and the man who brought him to life on the big screen, Hugh Jackman. Wolverine sings about his life (including a nod to his days in Alpha Flight) while traversing a series of comic book backdrops. Fellow Marvel characters like the Hulk, Spider-Man, Nightcrawler and Multiple Man make guest appearances (Multiple Man’s duplicate ability is great for creating a booming chorus), which only adds to the clip’s geeky awesomeness.

Have a peek at the clip below – we think you’ll dig it, even if you’re like the Hulk and hate musicals.
