What's Viral Right Now: Quentin Tarantino's Trunk Shots, an Insane Game of Ping-Pong & the Greatest Movie Freakouts of All Time

In Cold Blood and Goodfellas used the trunk shot to their advantage, but the one director who has made it his calling card is Quentin Tarantino. The Pulp Fiction filmmaker's trademark POV angle has appeared in all of the director's biggest films — including Jackie Brown, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill, From Dusk Till Dawn, and more. Video wizard kogognada (of Breaking Bad POV video montage fame) created another great supercut, which shows just how often Tarantino's camera looks up at his characters. Check it below. [BuzzFeed]

When two buddies start a friendly game of ping-pong, things quickly turn violent. We're not just talking John McEnroe foul-mouthed kind of aggressive; we're talking lightning speed fireballs and Scott Pilgrim levels of ka-motherflipping-pow. It's a fun short that gives YouTube user kimooi612 AKA Barking Dog a chance to play with visual effects and animation styles.

Nic Cage spends a lot of time in movies totally losing his sh*t. This supercut of 50 great movie freakouts proves it. As Vulture has also pointed out, Cage is the champion when it comes to going mad, but Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise, and Steve Martin also do a fine job at losing their cool. It probably says something sociological that most of the hotheads in this clip are men, but Faye Dunaway proves that women can be just as crazed. We love Mommie Dearest and her wire hangers. Check out more exasperated characters in the clip below.

Lastly, watch a cat watch Star Wars for the first time.
