Dwayne Johnson


Dwayne Johnson will finally play King Kamehameha: Dwayne Johnson is taking on his dream roles, at last. The former pro wrestler has been talking about playing legendary Hawaiian ruler Kamehameha I ever since he first became an actor 20 years ago. Star Wars casts a Hobbit: Another veteran J.J. Abrams collaborator has joined the cast of Star Wars: Episode IX. Dominic Monaghan, who starred as a Hobbit in the Lord of the Rings trilogy and as one of the castaways in Abrams' TV show Lost, will play an undetermined role. Emma replaces Emma: While the biggest surprise of the week was Alec Baldwin joining the cast of Joker, and then dropping out, the more positive surprise news is that Emma Watson has been cast in Greta Gerwig's Little Women. Venom mashed with FlubberNerdist crafted a perfect mash-up trailer that combines the upcoming comic book movie Venom with the Robin Williams-led remake Flubber, in which Tom Hardy's immersive symbiote suit is bright green. Watch the video below.  



First Man looks like an exciting awards contender: Just as the movie was premiering at the Venice Film Festival to rave reviews, the Neil Armstrong biopic First Man dropped another trailer starring Ryan Gosling as the first man on the Moon. Watch it below.

The House With a Clock in its Walls teases more fantastic family fun: The second trailer for Eli Roth's kid-friendly horror movie The House With a Clock in its Walls, starring Jack Black and Cate Blanchett, shares further promise this will be a fun adventure for the whole family. Watch it below.
