If you’re looking for a “treemendous” vacation and always wanted to spend time in a Star Wars setting, then check out Michael Garnier’s Out ‘N About Treehouse Treesort in Oregon.
It’s not quite as far as the moon of Endor, but the wilds of Oregon make a pretty good stand-in for one of Return of the Jedi’s most famous settings. The Ewok-inspired village has a series of interconnected treehouses linked by walkways, bridges, and even a zipline. Garnier says he was inspired to build the bed-and-breakfast so he could make money off of wood without chopping down trees. Seems like he’s succeeded.
The man behind the Ewok-inspired village sounds like a really interesting guy – and the video tour of Out ‘N About makes it sound like an interesting vacation destination for anyone looking for something a little out of the ordinary, without going to a galaxy far, far away.
Have a gander at the video below and then swing by the resort's official website for more info.
