It's always disappointing whenever a bunch of great footage screens at a comic convention only for the studio not to put it online at some point at a later date. Sure, it means you're that much more interested in attending said comic convention, but those of us who can't get there are always bummed to hear about the fantastic footage we never get to see. Ever one to listen to his fanbase, Guillermo del Toro has decided to change things up when it comes to the recent Pacific Rim footage he premiered at WonderCon by putting it online for everyone to obsess over.
And thank kaiju he did because this film looks like a monster epic. From del Toro: "This was originally intended for only WonderCon, but after listening to so many of you asking for more of the movie online, I think it's time for me to show you more footage. Enjoy, my friends!"
