Well, our brains just exploded. Check out this video that combines Zach Galifianakis' Between Two Ferns, James Franco, Lonely Island's new music video about spring breaaaaak, gay marriage, and everyone's favorite disenchanted IKEA enthusiast Ed Norton. Lonely Islanders Akiva Schaffer, Jorma Taccone and Andy Samberg will be releasing a new video from their upcoming Wack Album every Wednesday until it arrives on June 11. Is it too much to hope for a Timberlake or Jon Hamm collaboration for the next premiere?
Also in the land of amazing music videos that feature film stars and filmic setups is the clip for David Bowie's "The Next Day" — the third video from his new album of the same name. Tilda Swinton was featured in the video for "The Stars Are (Out Tonight)," but the great Gary Oldman with a greaser-esque haircut and priest robes are featured in this one, along with stigmatized Marion Cotillard playing a prostitute. Bowie takes on the role of a prophet leading the group of corrupt figures in merriment. We doubt anything else that appears on our screens today will be this cool. Let us know what you make of it.
