Watch: The Songs of 'Frozen' Used to Calm Kids During Freakouts

Mar 26, 2014

You’d be hard-pressed to find a child right now who hasn’t been wooed by the magic of Disney’s Frozen. The music, the message, and the humor have won audiences over — but kids are especially taken with the Academy Award-winning single “Let It Go.” The chart topper recently helped reassure one little girl when firefighters came to the rescue after she became trapped in an elevator with her mom and infant sibling.

Fox News reported the story, which we spotted on Cinema Blend, about four-year-old Kaelyn Kerr who was kept calm by a group of heroes serenading her as they helped her climb to safety. Of course, Kaelyn isn’t the only child using songs from the hit film to soothe her weary soul. Here’s a sobbing rendition of “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” from little Francesca who sang the ditty while having a nasty splinter removed. She deserves all the Oscars for this ear-piercing, dramatic performance.
