Watch: Matt Damon Channels 'Good Will Hunting' While Defending Teachers to Local Reporter

Aug 02, 2011

In a scene reminiscent of Matt Damon's iconic bar scene monologue from Good Will Hunting, the actor -- sporting a badass bald head -- further proved his real-like smarts (and tough-guy determination) while defending teachers alongside his mother (a teacher) at the Save Our Schools Million Teacher March in Washington DC. The interviewer tries to say that there's no incentive to want to be a better teacher, but there is an incentive to want to be a better actor -- and then Damon throws the Harvard-educated smackdown right back at her, essentially saying that teachers become teachers because they want to become teachers, not millionaires. The only thing missing from his rant is him concluding it with, "So how do ya like them apples?"
