Samantha is an actress living in America. Anaïs is a French fashion design student living in London. They found each other through social media. Both girls are adopted, share the same birthday, and they look identical. Samantha and Anaïs believe they are twin sisters separated at birth, and they've launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund a full-length documentary about their experiences.
The women haven't met yet, but they hope the crowd-funded project will support their mind-blowing journey, which will document the Skype conversations, video diaries and connections they will make until they see each other face-to-face. The film will also share their experiences as they travel through each other's hometowns and the DNA test that will confirm they are (or aren't) sisters.
We'd be shocked if they don't turn out to be twins, since the resemblance is uncanny — in appearance and manner. The girls have already reached their goal, but pledging is still open with gifts available should you choose to become part of their adventures. Otherwise, watch the video preview in which both girls say hello on Skype for the first time and be amazed at the power of social media and cinema. [via Kickstarter
