Watch: How They Created the Best Scene in 'The Avengers,' Plus 'Elf' Returns to New York

One of the best scenes in The Avengers comes toward the end when the entire team is battling aliens in New York City. There are these two amazing long takes that follow each character as they slowly come together and fight as one unit, one team. This is the movie's stand-up-and-cheer moment, and it was also ridiculously hard to create. Here's a fun behind-the-scenes featurette from ILM that details how it all came together. [via /Film]

Some dude though it'd be funny to put on the outfit from Elf and stroll around New York City re-creating some of the movie's funny fish-out-of-water scenes. Was he successful? Eh. You be the judge. [Vulture]
