We can suspend our disbelief about a human/creature hybrid when it comes to superheroes since, well, they kick ass. What happens, however, when we try to imagine a scientifically accurate superhero like Spider-Man? Would we still find him as brave and fascinating? The people at Animation Domination High Def asked themselves that very question and came up with some hilarious and interesting answers.
The TV animation block notes that a real Spider-Man wouldn't wear a suit. Spiders are covered from head to toe in hair. The animation creators also indicate that spiders are often homosexual, which confirms that a real Spider-Man would totally be considered a "bear." The short also teaches us that spider silk glands are located near the anus, so Peter Parker has been shooting webs out of his… yeah. Spiders use these same glands to produce milk, which was news to us. Although the animation reveals that spiders have a penis that falls off, it's not really a penis. It's something called pedipalps — appendages that insert sperm into a female spider for reproduction. The fluid is produced from a "sperm web," by the way, which means Peter Parker has been emitting some questionable stuff in the comics and films. Enjoy! [via Dangerous Minds]
