Watch: Aubrey Plaza Freakishly Stalks Michael Cera in the Short Film 'Failure'

Jun 19, 2013

YouTube channel JASH is hosting a new Michael Cera film starring Aubrey Plaza. Cera is a key member of the comedy collective, which includes Sarah Silverman, Reggie Watts, and Tim and Eric — basically all the vulgar, awkward and hilarious people you appreciate. Failure, however, isn't a knee-slapping good time. Plaza plays a stalkery home invader who suddenly shows up in Cera's home. They make tense conversation, but the actor's character starts to warm up to the strange girl, sensing her loneliness and eccentricity.
When she finally leaves, he can't stop thinking about her. "She was nice," he muses from his sofa. It sounds creepier than it actually plays out. What does it all mean? Your guess is as good as ours, but these are two characters we don't necessarily mind wasting four minutes of our life with. Watch it below, and sound off in the comments about Cera's new film career. He recently made his directorial debut with Brazzaville Teen-Ager, which you can catch up with over here.
