It's hardly Martin Scorsese's most lauded film, but After Hours has its dark, weird moments. The film follows the misadventures of Griffin Dunne's Paul — the actor best known for his role as a rotting corpse in An American Werewolf in London. During an evening out, he has several surreal encounters with women and oddball characters that take him to New York City nightclubs, tiny apartments, and other dark corners of the city.
Electro pop band Au Revoir Simone (the name is a shout-out to Pee-wee Herman) paid homage to the movie with their new video for the single "Crazy." The tune is nothing amazing, but the all-girl short is a lot of fun, capturing several key moments from the movie with a cheeky grin. We spotted the clip on Dangerous Minds. At least we have something to watch while we wait to find out if Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street makes its November 15 release date. The nearly three-hour cut needs to be trimmed down, so the theatrical cut might be delayed.
