Watch: 'The Simpsons' Goes Full Kubrick in Latest "Treehouse of Horror" Episode

Oct 20, 2014

The Simpsons has paid tribute to Stanley Kubrick more than once in the past, and most famously in its "Treehouse of Horror" episode from way back in 1994 when the show sent its loveable family to become caretakers at Mr. Burns' mansion. Groundskeeper Willie discovered that Bart had the Shinning, Homer went crazy from no TV and no beer, and the rest was TV history.

Now, 20years later, The Simpsons revisisted Kubrick for another "Treehouse of Horror," only this time they didn't limit themselves to just one of the director's movies. They created an entire segment called "A Clockwork Yellow" that transformed Homer, Moe, Lenny and Carl into the main gang from A Clockwork Orange and thrust them into a story that plays out like a greatest hits of Kubrick references.

If you're in America and have Hulu+, you can watch the episode in full right now (or wait a week for it to become available to nonsubscribers). Either way, here's a teaser, via Slashfilm:
