Watch: 'South Park' Creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker Discuss How They Dropped Acid at the Oscars

Sep 30, 2011

The year was 2000, and South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker were nominated for an Original Song Oscar for the tune "Blame Canada," which was part of their first South Park movie, South Park: Bigger Longer & Uncut. Though they didn't win that year, their appearance at the Oscars was memorable because the two wore dresses to the ceremony instead of tuxedos. It was later revealed that the decision to wear those dresses was fueled by the fact that Stone and Parker had dropped some acid right before the show.

The duo made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel last night where they spoke about the time they dropped acid at the Oscars. While we're not certain they're the only people to ever be tripping on acid during the Oscars, we imagine at the very least they're part of a small, intimate club of folks with way more balls than I.
