It was my birthday earlier this week, but today I come bearing gifts for you, dear readers – gifts in the form of new clips and trailers. Never let it be said that I’m not a generous guy…
First up, we’ve got the new red band trailer for A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas. Given that this is a red band clip, it’s obviously not safe for work. Everyone’s favorite stoners are back in this new feature, which finds Harold and Kumar going on a Christmas adventure after they learn that Santa is real and accidentally shoot him in the head.
The new clip features everything you’d expect in a red band H&K trailer – including drugs, boobs, vulgarity, and a musical number featuring America’s sweetheart, Neil Patrick Harris. It also features one recurring gag sure to offend concerned citizens everywhere – a bit where a toddler first becomes high on secondhand pot smoke and later graduates to cocaine. Since this is only a trailer, we can only guess if there’s a meth/crack/heroin sequence in the full film. We can hear the cries of moral outrage already.
Harold & Kumar will bring their unique brand of holiday cheer to a theater near you on November 4th.
If you’re still on the fence about checking out Paul WS Anderson’s take on The Three Musketeers when it opens in theaters tomorrow, perhaps this look at the first five minutes of the film will help you reach a decision.
The film, which features performances from Logan Lerman, Milla Jovovich, Christoph Waltz, Matthew Macfadyen, Ray Stevenson, and Luke Evans, is being billed as a reboot of Dumas’ classic tale. We suspect purists might not enjoy the jokey tone of this new take, but the first five minutes are filled with enough action to keep our attention. Rebooting Dumas’ classic tale doesn’t seem like the greatest of ideas, but maybe Anderson and company can pull it off.
Finally, Twi-hards can rejoice! Yahoo! Movies has a new exclusive clip from the upcoming Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 wherein Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner discuss the making of the big wedding scene.
The clip is only a minute long, but it features lots of footage from the upcoming nuptials of Bella and Edward. The actors talk a bit about what the scene means, how the series has been building to this moment from the start, and a bit about what inspired the look of this momentous event. Hopefully, this will tide you all over until The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 hits theaters on November 18th.
