Watch: 20 Minutes of Raw B-Roll Footage from 'The Avengers'

Apr 13, 2012

If you haven't had your fill yet of The Avengers ahead of its May 4th release, then here's some more stuff to munch on while you kill time for a few more weeks. Roughly 20 minutes of raw b-roll from the film has made its way online. There's no dialogue, just music backed up by tons of behind-the-scenes footage of The Avengers production team making movie magic. If you're into that sort of thing, give it a watch.

The most impressive part of the shoot may have been how they transformed an old rail yard into a New York City street under siege. When you see shots of them fighting on that street surrounded by a green screen, keep in mind that's actually an abandoned rail yard in New Mexico, and not New York. Also, having visited that particular set, know that it was about 100 degrees the entire time with more dust than you'd ever want to be around. Now we know why they get paid the big bucks ...

Keep in mind there may be spoilers in these videos, so watch at your own risk.
