, which hits theaters on December 14, 2012 (part 2 arrives a year later). She took time out of her busy schedule to practice her Elvish for Access Hollywood during the premiere of Real Steel
. Aside from the annoying prerequisite statement from the interviewer claiming geek cred, the Lost
star shares a few candid thoughts about her role, which finds the actress playing Tauriel (a character invented by Jackson, Fran Walsh, and Philippa Boyens) — an elf from Mirkwood.
Hopefully geeks find her endearing enough — somehow we don't think that's going to be a problem, particularly after her Elvish recital — because she claims to be "scared" by "all the ones at Comic Con" and just wants to deliver a great performance. Lilly mentions working closely with a dialect coach, motion coach, language coach, and stunt coach in New Zealand and compliments Jackson's resourceful and supportive working environment.
