Trailer Roundup: Zach Braff-y 'Wish I Was Here,' Creepy 'Borgman,' and Raunchy 'Intramural'

Wish I Was Here

So many people cemented their opinion of Wish I Was Here, Zach Braff's latest film, the second its Kickstarter campaign was announced. That's bound to happen anytime a divisive personality gets attached to a movie. (For what it's worth, our Erik Davis liked Wish I Was Here at its Sundance premiere.)

Having said that, Wish I Was Here looks unabashedly like a movie made from the quirk-loving, escapist mind of the guy who made Garden State. That may or may not work for you, but you can't fault the man for having his own style.

Wish I Was Here hits theaters on July 25, 2014.

Leave it to Drafthouse Films, ever the purveyors of bold, international arthouse films, to import something creepy from the Netherlands. The less said about Borgman the better, so here's its cryptic trailer.

Borgman opens June 6, 2014.

This is going to sound like a complaint, but we mean it as a compliment: Intramural looks kind of like it could be called National Lampoon's Intramural, or American Pie Presents: Intramural. It's got that kind of scrappy, screw-it, let's-do-it attitude to it, plus it's hard to ignore the crude sense of humor.

Intramural will have its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival this April.
