Just say yes to the Swedish Chef, Beaker and Animal performing their version of the Beastie Boys’ 1992 hit “So What'cha Want.” The mash-up is missing the extremely expensive infrared/photo-negative effect in the group’s original music video (a proud day for Predator fans around the world), but we think the allure of rapping Muppets ranks slightly higher.
The video ends on a bit of a somber note, with a #ripMCA hashtag closing the clip. We just passed the birthday of Beastie Boys cofounder Adam Yauch (aka MCA), also the founder of indie film company Oscilloscope Laboratories. We think he’d approve of Animal's crazed dance moves, Beaker's bug-eyed song style, and the Swedish Chef's beret in the Muppets rendition of the band's anthem. [via Geekologie]
