You shouldn't need much convincing to watch a film from Gattaca's Andrew Niccol. The trailer for In Time debuted at Comic-Con last week and shows Justin Timberlake in what could be a true breakout role for him. The Friends with Benefits actor stars alongside Amanda Seyfried in the dystopian sci-fi thriller that finds the masses dying at age 25 – unless they can buy more time to save their lives. Access Hollywood has provided a new trailer, which features additional footage surrounding Olivia Wilde as Will Salas' (Timberlake) mother. Check out both clips below.
Some low-res images from Ridley Scott's one-time Alien prequel, Prometheus, have showed up online courtesy of Dread Central. The images come from Comic-Con and an anonymous reader who took some snaps off the screen in San Diego. You can catch a glimpse of stars Charlize Theron, Noomi Rapace, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green, Ben Foster, and Michael Fassbender in what appears to be a teaser trailer that we'll be likely to see closer to the June 8, 2012 release date.
Prometheus will follow a team of scientists and explorers on a journey that will " … test their physical and mental limits and strand them on a distant world, where they will discover the answers to our most profound questions and to life’s ultimate mystery." The 3D movie – which isn't sure if it wants to be PG-13 or R-rated just yet – stars Theron as the head of the Weyland-Yutani corporation, while Rapace will play Dr. Elizabeth Shaw (being compared to Ellen Ripley's character). Marshall-Green is Shaw's love interest, Elba stars as Captain Janek, and Fassbender plays an android (where can I buy one?).
