If you're familiar with Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim's brand of absurdist humor, then this interview with a local Fox news station out of Austin, Texas won't surprise you at all. The duo sat down to chat about their upcoming film, Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie, and, naturally, they didn't make things easy for the folks at Good Day Austin, whose clueless anchor really has no idea who he's dealing with, and Tim and Eric just use that to their advantage by not only torturing him with mindless tomfoolery, but also the surrounding production crew.
Check out the video below, which includes a refund announcement by Eric too. Apparently, if you go to see their film and don't like it, you can write Eric an email at his personal email address (which he gives out), and he'll come to your house, write you a $10 check and do all your dishes for you. Not a bad deal. Can we take him up on that if we've only seen the trailer?
Tim & Eric's Billion Dollar Movie hits theaters March 2nd, though you can already watch it online over at iTunes.
